About the Role
All Store Team Members play an essential role in building our company brand by delivering excellent customer service. They maximize product inventory and support online business operations, ensuring a positive shopping experience. While both part‑time and full‑time positions generally focus on merchandising responsibilities, team members may also be assigned sales, front‑end, or other responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
- Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing them about products and services.
- Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
- Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
- Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
- Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws when delivery is an essential function.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience, 1+ year in a retail setting (preferred).
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Walk, bend down repeatedly, and stand for 8–10 hours a day.
- Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
- Climb ladders and lift 50lb overhead repeatedly.
- May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.
