Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated in Columbia is seeking a Merchandiser to present products attractively at customer retail locations servicing the Lexington/West Columbia area. You'll follow planograms, stock and rotate products, and work with store management to maximize visibility.

The role requires reliability, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, strong communication and customer service skills to support partnerships.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse customers.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work reliably and independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong critical thinking abilities.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products in cold vaults and on shelves according to procedures and programs.
• Fills and merchandises coolers and displays on the sales floor.
• Organizes back room cooler and logistics including returns and waste disposal.
• Builds and maintains positive relationships with store personnel and communicates requests to drivers and managers.
