McClatchy Media Company seeks a dedicated On-site Merchandiser to service product in multiple stores around Indianapolis, IN. The role requires up to 100% travel, a 32–40 hour workweek, and a competitive wage with travel time paid. Reports to the Supervisor of Merchandising.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of merchandising experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with Word/Excel and Movista. Background checks and drug tests apply.

Responsabilidades

• 75% Merchandising: merchandise products in retail environments and replenish stock following store guidelines.
• Service scheduled stores within designated hours; obtain supervisor approval for overtime.
• Record work hours and related information using designated systems.
• Coordinate duties with store personnel as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with training new merchandisers and support supervisor duties as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on planograms/flowcharts and communicate with supervisor.

Compensation:

• Competitive Wage $18 to include Travel time between accounts is paid.

Average hours per week: 32 to 40

Schedule:

• Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to the established schedule.

Travel:Travel expected up to 100% of the time to cover territory

Summary of Responsibilities:
75% Merchandising

• Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate Safely and efficiently replenish product. May assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by Supervisor. Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours.
• Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or
• Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated
• Discuss duties requested by store personnel not listed herein with Supervisor before performing those
• May train Merchandisers on appropriate merchandising
• Back up to Supervisor and fill in Supervisor duties, as May be assigned to approve payroll and run a variety of reports.
