Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations and maintain multiple bulk accounts. You will follow planograms and coordinate with store management and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs.).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and on shelves according to procedures and programs.
• Physically moves product from backroom to display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelves; rotates product and checks vendor operations.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor; handles damaged/expired items.
• Fosters relationships with store personnel through routine follow-ups and proactive pricing.
