Job summary

Summit Beverage is seeking a Merchandiser to stock and showcase our brands in Montanan stores. You’ll work a flexible schedule and may use a company vehicle to move between locations. This role offers full-time or part-time hours with mileage reimbursement and a benefits package.

Day-to-day tasks include stocking, rotating products, building displays, and assisting delivery teams. Candidates should be independent, physically capable of lifting 35 lbs regularly, and have a valid Montana driver’s

• Valid Montana driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly (up to 165 lbs occasionally when handling kegs) and push/pull loaded carts.
• Comfortable on your feet all shift, including time in cold coolers.
• Grocery, retail or beverage experience is a plus, not required.
• A self-starter who works well independently.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate and face product in coolers, on shelves, racks and displays in high‑volume stores.
• Assist Delivery teams on load days in your assigned stores.
• Build and refresh promotional displays to store and company standards.
• Organize back stock and move product quickly from storage to the sales floor.
• Pull outdated or damaged product and flag it for your Summit Sales Rep.
• Visit your assigned stores each day and finish each one with a clean walkthrough.

Seeing: Must be able to read pricing tags, product labels, read and interpret documentation. Must be able to see while driving at all times of the day. 75 - 100%

Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with fellow employees and account contacts. Must be able to hear horn/alarms while in account backstock areas.

Standing/Walking: 75-100%

Sitting at Desk / Sitting while driving: 0-24%

Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 50-74%

Lifting/Pushing/Pulling: 75-100% (Lift approx. 35-55lbs – push/pull cart approx. 100-150lb)

Working Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
