Job summary

Summit Beverage is seeking a Merchandiser to stock and rotate products across Montana stores. You will travel between stores in a company vehicle, set up displays, and maintain planograms to brand standards.

You can choose full-time or part-time hours with flexible start times, and a Saturday–Wednesday schedule is offered with Thurs/Fri off. A valid Montana license and ability to lift 35 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Montana driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly (up to 165 lbs occasionally when handling kegs).
• Grocery, retail or beverage experience is a plus, not required.
• Self-starter who works well independently.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate and face product in coolers, on shelves, racks and displays in high-volume stores.
• Assist Delivery teams on load days in your assigned stores.
• Build and refresh promotional displays to store and company standards.
• Organize back stock and move product quickly from storage to the sales floor.
• Pull outdated or damaged product and flag it for your Summit Sales Rep.
• Visit your assigned stores each day and finish each one with a clean walkthrough.

SCHEDULE: Saturday - Wednesday (off Thurs/Fri), 6:00am - 2:00pm

• Comfortable on your feet all shift, including time in cold coolers
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Grocery, retail or beverage experience is a plus, not required

Seeing: Must be able to read pricing tags, product labels, read and interpret documentation. Must be able to see while driving at all times of the day. 75 - 100%

Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with fellow employees and account contacts. Must be able to hear horn/alarms while in account backstock areas.

Standing/Walking: 75-100%

Sitting at Desk / Sitting while driving: 0-24%

Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 50-74%

Lifting/Pushing/Pulling: 75-100% (Lift approx. 35-55lbs – push/pull cart approx. 100-150lb)

Working Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
