American Greetings Corporation is seeking a Merchandiser to service stores on an assigned route in the Madison area, display products in greeting card departments, and maintain organized backrooms. The starting pay is $15.30 per hour with increases after 6 months and 1 year, plus flexible scheduling, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Merchandiser will service stores on assigned route and organize product orders.
• Display products within greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate questions or concerns to management regarding service or schedules.
• Work in fast-paced retail environments with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Availability for additional working days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Provide occasional store resets, fixture work, relocation or removal as requested.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment utilizing effective time management skills and organizational skills.
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
• Availability for additional working days and extended hours around holidays.
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets including fixture work, product assembly or relocation.
• Review and plan your weekly service schedule and workload in your assigned stores, using a tablet.
