Job summary

American Greetings is seeking Merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, displaying and maintaining inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush and more.

The role offers starting pay of $13.10 per hour with raises to $13.80 after 6 months and $14.50 after 1 year, along with flexible scheduling and paid training. A company tablet is used to manage weekly routes and updates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation to service multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet for updates.
• Must be able to learn and use company-provided tablet.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product within greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate with management regarding schedules and issues.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Be available for extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets or minor fixture work as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedule using the company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
