Admiral Beverage Corporation in Carlsbad, NM is seeking a Merchandiser to display beverage merchandise on shelves and on the sales floor. You will arrange products, place signs, and ensure displays maximize product visibility while minimizing stockroom overflow.

You will collaborate with store personnel daily, follow approved display plans, and create or adapt POS displays as needed. This role requires physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds, with regular standing

• Transfers product from stock to floor displays to meet Sell By dates and maximize in-store presence.
• Orders product for assigned accounts to prevent out-of-stocks.
• Originates display ideas or follows Merchandiser Manager/Sales Manager schedules.
• Communicate daily with store personnel regarding service or product needs.
• Constructs display aids from POS materials provided by the company.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description

Merchandiser: Displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on sales floor of retail store by performing the following duties.

• Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
• Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
• Transfers product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
• Orders product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions.
• Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
• Communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
• Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift/or move objects weighing up to 100 pounds using a hand-truck or other manual lifting device.
