Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Frederick, MD is hiring a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations, service multiple bulk accounts, and follow planograms with safe handling.

You will build displays, rotate stock, coordinate with store management, and support promotional programs while working in a fast-paced environment; valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record required.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• M erchants must have excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.
• Strong critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelves according to procedures.
• Physically moves product from backroom to display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelves; rotates product and checks vendor operation.
• Organizes and maintains back room and stock, handling damaged or dated products.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-ups and promotions.
