Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Merchandiser in Overland Park, KS to support merchandising, front‑end duties, and online orders, reporting to store management. You will build displays, manage inventory, assist with curbside pickup and delivery, and help maintain compliance with liquor laws.

Focus is on delivering excellent customer service, product knowledge, promotions, and safety. Prior experience in retail with POS systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1‑3 years of experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical requirements: must be 21 years of age or older; walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8‑10 hours a day; safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly; may be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws.

Job Summary

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. The role focuses on merchandising responsibilities, with additional duties in sales, front‑end, or other areas as needed. You will be referred to as a Merchandiser and report to the store management team. Responsibilities include managing product inventory, processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting online business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
