Job description

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory: process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, and place signage.
• Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
• Deliver exceptional service: greet customers, build relationships, and inform them about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders safely following company policies and procedures and abiding by traffic and safety laws (if delivery is an essential job function).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience, preferably 1+ year in a retail setting.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend down repeatedly and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
• Safely lift, load and handle cases and pallets.
• Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Compensation and Benefits

Worker Type: Owner Employee

Pay Range: $16.43 – $23.00 Hourly
