Job summary

Total Wine & More in Texas is seeking store team members to deliver excellent customer service, maximize product inventory, and support online operations. Roles include merchandising, cashier, front-end, and other duties as needed in a busy retail environment.

You'll greet customers, build relationships, and inform them about products and services while participating in wine, spirits, and beer training to grow product knowledge. Flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience, retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, and placing signage.
• Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store and ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders safely and professionally, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws.

Job Overview

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building our company brand by delivering excellent customer service. While both part‑time and full‑time positions generally focus on merchandising responsibilities, you may also be assigned sales, front end or other responsibilities as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8‑10 hours a day.
• Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
• Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.
