Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Lexington, VA is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations and maintain multiple bulk accounts.

You will merchandise approved products, follow planograms, and coordinate with store management to optimize displays. You will move products from backrooms to shelves, create and rotate point-of-sale materials, and build strong relationships with store personnel while adhering to safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Be able to work with store personnel and customers to meet needs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs
• Physically moves the product from the backroom and places it on display
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelve where permitted; rotates product and checks vendor operations
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, returns damaged/outdated product
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests and promotions
