Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Mojave, CA is seeking a merchandising associate to stock shelves, rotate stock, and set up displays in local stores to support national and local campaigns.

You will drive between locations with your own transportation, work a variable schedule with two days off weekly, and perform lifting of 20–45 lb cases during long shifts. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Personal transportation to access multiple store locations within assigned shift.
• Must drive to various locations in different geographic areas.
• May require holidays work.
• Ability to lift 20–45 pounds repeatedly for 10–12 hour shifts.
• Bending, reaching and squatting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise PepsiCo products in large format and local stores, stock shelves, coolers and displays to plan.
• Rotate product and check dates to maintain freshness, quality and in-stock conditions.
• Move product from backroom to sales floor, organize stock and maintain a neat, safe backroom.
• Build and maintain displays; set up promotional materials to support national and local initiatives.
• Partner with store teams, communicate store needs, build relationships, and use handheld tools to support orders and daily records (training provided).

What You’ll Do

• Merchandise PepsiCo products in large format and local stores, stock shelves, coolers, and displays to plan
• Rotate product and check dates to maintain freshness, quality, and in-stock conditions

Minimum Qualifications

• Position requires you to drive to various locations that are in different geographic areas
• Position may require you to work holidays
• Position requires lifting, loading, pushing and pulling cases weighing from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over 10-12 hour work period (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires bending, reaching and squatting (with or without accommodation)
