Job summary

Sigma is seeking a full-time Merchandiser to stock Bar-S products at customer locations in the Los Ranchos de Albuquerque area. The role starts at 8:00 am, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays, and requires reliable transportation and strong customer-service skills.

You will maintain shelf standards, perform plan-o-gram rotations, manage promotions, and build solid relationships with store staff, delivering timely reports and ensuring accurate pricing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Personal vehicle with license and insurance.
• Food handler’s permit.
• Driver’s license meeting company requirements and an acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store shelf standards and inventory; ensure pricing matches current promotions.
• Protect and gain shelf space for Bar-S products; stock temporary bunkers and spaces for promotions.
• Provide excellent customer service and assess customer needs to recommend products.
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers; create weekly/monthly/quarterly reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Stock Hispanic Brands products at customers’ locations in assigned locations.This is a full time M-F position starting at 8:00 am with some Saturdays 8:00am.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through various merchandising strategies, including but not limited to rotation of products; ensure pricing matches current promotions and current marketing and promotional materials are displayed.
• Protect and gain merchandise shelf space for Bar-S products by stocking temporary bunkers and spaces for scheduled promotions; optimize brand presence in designated areas.
• Provide excellent customer service; assess the needs of the customer to best recommend products.
• Maintain excellent working relationship with customers.
• Create weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

License/Certifications

• Personal vehicle which meets company standards for licensing and insurance
• Food handler’s permit
• Driver’s License which meets company requirements
• MVR which meets Sigma driving standards with review by Talent & Culture

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in spanish and English

Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
Must demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Fully fluent in Spanish

Environmental/Working Conditions

Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 34º F for prolonged periods of time
Availability to work some weekends and evenings
Can regularly lift and move 30 pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck.
Can repeatedly twist, turn, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push or pull to move 30 pounds.
