Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group company, is seeking a field Merchandiser to support convenience store partners by implementing product displays and ensuring proper merchandising. You will operate a daily route to assigned locations and maintain Planograms to maximize sales and profitability.

The role requires a daily driver with a reliable vehicle, strong customer service, and attention to detail. This is a non-managerial, field-based position with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekend

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent experience.
• 6+ months merchandising or related client-facing experience.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle and insurance.
• Ability to frequently lift 5–25 lbs; up to 70 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily to assigned customer locations in your own vehicle.
• Meet with store owners to assess needs and provide merchandising support.
• Place and organize merchandise per planograms to Core-Mark standards.
• Set up, reset fixtures, and remove discontinued products as needed.

Position Details

• Compensation: $16/hr


• Schedule: Monday–Friday | Start time between 6A-9A


• Territory: Las Vegas, NV


• Reports to: Merchandising Supervisor


• Mileage reimbursement: (vehicle must meet company standards)


• Monday–Friday work schedule – no weekends.

Position Overview

As a non-managerial Merchandiser with Core-Mark, a division of Performance Food Group, you will play a key role in supporting our convenience store partners by implementing product displays, maintaining planograms, and ensuring our retail locations are properly merchandised for maximum sales and profitability. This position requires professionalism, diligence, and a strong commitment to customer service. This field-based role requires daily use of your own reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily to assigned customer locations using your vehicle.


• Meet with store owners and staff to assess needs and deliver high-quality merchandising support.


• Place and organize merchandise in designated display areas, following detailed planograms to ensure all product placements align with Core-Mark standards.


• Set up and reset store fixtures, shelves, and displays. Remove discontinued or outdated products as needed.


• Provide stocking, pricing, shelf-facing, product rotation, and routine shelf and product cleaning.


• Monitor product performance using sales velocity reports supplied by the company and suggest discontinuing or replacing specific items in each store to help boost sales and profits.


• Monitor potential account problems and elevate concerns to Sales Representatives or Sales Managers.


• Ensure store aisles remain clean and safe for shoppers and store staff.


• Build and sustain strong customer relationships by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving concerns professionally.


• Maintain and care for assigned equipment.


• Accurately complete and submit timesheets and activity logs.


• Perform additional merchandising or operational tasks assigned by leadership.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: 70% | Sitting: 30%


• Frequent bending, stretching, kneeling, squatting, turning, twisting, and climbing.


• Regular lifting of 5–25 lbs.; occasional lifting to 70 lbs.

Vehicle & Insurance Compliance Requirements

Candidates must use their vehicle and are responsible for maintaining active automobile insurance coverage through a personal policy. Minimum coverage requirements include:

Insurance documentation must be submitted via the Cardata app or emailed to [e-mail] when any of the following occur:

• Initial set-up in the program


• Change of vehicle or insurance provider


• Renewal of the insurance policy

Note: Reimbursement cannot be issued without submission of the required documentation. Responding to reminders and documentation requests is crucial to maintaining eligibility.

Qualifications

• 6 + months of merchandising experience, stocking and/or client facing customer service.


• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.


• Must be able to frequently lift products weighing from 5-25 lbs. throughout the day.


• Must be able to lift a case of product or tote which could weigh up to 70 lbs.
