Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Merchandiser to support stores across Montana. The role involves traveling, stocking, pricing, shelving, and maintaining display areas while reading planograms. Weekend time away from home is possible in some assignments.

Compensation is $20.00 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities in a nationwide food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of merchandising experience.
• Ability to read and execute planograms.
• Team player able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores on schedule daily.
• Provide excellent customer service at store level.
• Merchandise, stock, price, face shelves and rotate products.
• Read planograms and arrange store displays as required.
• Monitor store issues and report to Sales Manager as needed.
• Maintain safe aisles and proper housekeeping; occasional overnight travel.
• Report hours on time sheets.

Position Details;

• This role requires TRAVEL - You will travel throughout the state supporting the reset team (home on weekends),
• Pay is $20.00 per hour
• Cell phone reimbursement or company phone
• Personal car OR corporate car provided

A Brief Overview

The Merchandiser is responsible for pricing and setting customers' stores. The Merchandiser reports directly to the Sales/Merchandising Manager overseeing the geographical area they service.

What You Will Do

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily
• Provide excellent customer service
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotation, and product and shelf cleaning at our customer locations
• Read planograms
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
• Monitor potential account problems at the store level and report to Sales and/or Sales Manager when required
• Maintain safe store aisles
• Maintenance of assigned equipmentOccasional overnight travel
• Reporting hours to division on provided time sheets

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 6 + months of merchandising experience
• Experience reading & executing planograms
• Able to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
• Strong oral & written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self -motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Driver's License
