Job summary

TriStar Beverage seeks a full-time Merchandiser to enhance sales by restocking coolers, setting up displays, and managing stock across multiple accounts. The role involves frequent lifting and travel between locations with a fast-paced, detail-oriented approach.

Ideal candidates are 21+, possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance. You’ll work day shifts from home bases and visit several Tennessee locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Restock all coolers and in-store space and displays to be attractive for retailer and consumer.
• Rotate products according to expiration date; store reserve inventory properly for restocking.
• Set up and build new displays; perform daily lifting, bending, walking, and stacking of beverage products; travel between accounts.

Other duties include storing reserve inventory in the proper designated area for later restocking; rotating products appropriately according to expiration date; and setting up and/or building new displays. This is very physical work requiring repetitive lifting, bending, walking, and stacking of beverage products on a daily basis, plus driving.Merchandisers typically start their days from their homes and travel from account to account to perform their duties. We’re looking for a fast-paced self-starter who has strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and apply new skills. The Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining strong, productive relationships with all customers, so it’s a great job for a \"people person. And, since the Merchandisers work independently most days, the ability to work effectively without close supervision is essential.To qualify for this position, you’ll need:Age 21 or olderValid driver licenseGood driving recordReliable automobileCurrent automobile insuranceWorking conditions include exposure to fluctuations in temperature due to seasonal conditions and work inside coolers. The work requires frequent pushing, pulling, and lifting of beverage products, and the ability to drive. Manual dexterity, coordination, and mobility are required. Qualified applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds easily and must be able to push/pull/manipulate loaded carts and dollies. This is a position that requires a high level of personal fitness to meet the physical demands of the job.This is daytime position with variable work days and hours.
