Job summary

Topicz is seeking mercha ndisers to optimize product placement and presentation across stores. You will follow planograms, label sections, and recommend replacements to boost sales, while coordinating with store owners and staff.

The role requires independent work in a fast-paced environment and may involve overnight travel up to four nights per week. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, superb customer service, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read planograms.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and state mandated insurance.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Previous merchandising experience preferred.
• Able to read planograms.
• Must have reliable personal automobile.
• Able to operate a cell phone and computer.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to reach, lift, kneel and bend to stock shelves.

About the Role

Merchandisers are responsible for a critical component of sales; product placement and presentation to optimize customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise each store by following planograms and ensuring that all sections in the store are appropriately labeled
• Identify items that are not selling in each account and make product replacement recommendations that will increase sales for our customers
• Must be able to execute a store layout and opening orders for new stores
• Must be able to collaborate and communicate with store owners and employees
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Submit all paperwork in a timely manner
• Overnight travel is required for this position-up to four nights per week
