Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Full-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiser to join our team in Chesapeake, VA and surrounding areas. You will visit stores, install, and maintain client displays, ensuring correct placement and troubleshooting. The role requires 30–40 hours per week with weekday hours and occasional weekends.

You will work with top brands and report daily survey feedback and photos. A high school diploma and reliable vehicle are needed, with opportunities for travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Previous merchandising experience preferred in 3PL or retail environment.
• Ability to manage multiple stores within a territory.
• Detail-oriented with ability to read planograms.
• Independent worker who can also collaborate with a small team.
• Tech-ready with internet access and GPS-enabled device.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Able to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retail locations within the Chesapeake, VA radius to install and maintain client displays.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Report daily updates with surveys and photos after each visit.
• Represent clients like Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, Intel, and more.
• Maintain flexibility for 30–40 hours per week, with weekday scheduling and occasional weekends.

ActionLink is seeking a Full-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiser to join our team for Chesapeake, VA and the surrounding area.

What you will do:

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail establishments like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and others within an assigned radius territory
• Purpose: To turn shelves into sales magnets and drive revenue by ensuring the proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our clients' promotional product displays
• Clients: Represent innovative, global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, Intel, and many others
• Scheduling: This position offers 30-40 hours per week. Project hours and times fluctuate, so flexibility Monday through Friday typically between 8:00am to 5:00pm is necessary for the position. No evening hours required. Available to work on Mondays through Friday and occasional weekends.
• Additional Opportunities: If you can cover a larger region and travel to other outlying areas or states, there may be opportunities for additional hours
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each completed store visit

• Education: High School diploma or GED
• Retail Experience: Previous merchandising, Must be experienced in 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility: Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams, Detail-oriented with the ability to read planograms accurately.
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently most of the time and collaborating with a small team when needed, Flexible and a team player with a strong sense of urgency to complete projects.
• Tech-ready: Access to the internet, basic hand-held tools, and a smart device with Wi-Fi/GPS capability. Access to a laptop or desktop computer is a strong plus.
• Travel Ability: A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle transportation
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
