Job summary

Acosta Sales & Marketing is seeking a Full-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiser in Chesapeake, VA to transform retail displays and drive product visibility. You will visit stores such as Best Buy, Walmart, and Target to install and maintain electronics displays for leading client brands.

The role offers 30–40 hours per week with daytime hours, occasional weekends, and opportunities to take on larger regions. A high school diploma or GED is required, with retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Retail experience strongly desirable.
• Experience in 3PL or related retail environments preferred.
• Ability to read planograms and follow diagrams precisely.
• Independent worker who can also collaborate with a small team.
• Must be tech-ready with internet access and mobile tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores within an assigned radius to complete merchandising projects at major retailers.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly and maintenance of promotional displays to drive sales.
• Represent clients like Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, Intel, and others.
• Schedule typically 30-40 hours per week with daytime hours; some weekends possible.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos after each visit.

ActionLink is seeking aFull-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiserto join our team forChesapeake, VAand the surrounding area.

What you will do:

• **Store Visits:**Complete projects at major retail establishments like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and others within an assigned radius territory
• **Purpose:**To turn shelves into sales magnets and drive revenue by ensuring the proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our clients' promotional product displays
• **Clients:**Represent innovative, global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, Intel, and many others
• **Scheduling:**This position offers 30-40 hours per week. Project hours and times fluctuate, so flexibility Monday through Friday typically between 8:00am to 5:00pm is necessary for the position. No evening hours required. Available to work on Mondays through Friday and occasional weekends.
• **Additional Opportunities:**If you can cover a larger region and travel to other outlying areas or states, there may be opportunities for additional hours
• **Reporting:**Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each completed store visit

• **Education: **High School diploma or GED
• **Retail Experience:**Previous merchandising, Must be experienced in 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• **Versatility:**Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory
• **Attention to Detail:**Ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams, Detail-oriented with the ability to read planograms accurately.
• **Independence and Teamwork:**Comfortable working independently most of the time and collaborating with a small team when needed, Flexible and a team player with a strong sense of urgency to complete projects.
• **Tech-ready:**Access to the internet, basic hand-held tools, and a smart device with Wi‑Fi/GPS capability. Access to a laptop or desktop computer is a strong plus.
• **Travel Ability:**A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle transportation
• **Physical Ability:**Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
