Job summary

Goodwill West Texas is seeking a store associate in Brownwood, TX to stock merchandise, greet customers, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor. This role emphasizes following directions, safety, and teamwork while supporting donations and merchandising tasks.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift items, and work varied hours. No experience is required, and training will be provided to perform essential duties at the Brownwood store.

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by greeting customers, possessing solid product knowledge and showing genuine concern.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance & store housekeeping.
• Assist in receiving/monitoring stock and processing/replenishing merchandise as necessary.
• Follow safety protocols at all times and especially when using equipment in the warehouse.
• Safely operate equipment which you have been properly trained to use.
• Operate efficiently and stay on task to meet or exceed established goals.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices including signage, pricing and loss prevention.
• Must be able to perform all aspects of the donation process, including receiving donations.
• Communicate appropriately and positively with co-workers and others.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
