Job summary

Nautica is seeking a Merchandise Coordinator to manage samples and support the merchandising team across channels. You will organize, track, and fulfill sample requests, while coordinating with marketing, visual, wholesale, international, product development, and design teams.

Strong time management and cross-functional collaboration are essential for tight schedules. Responsibilities include end-to-end sample lifecycle management, showroom setup, and assisting with SKU data in relevant systems.

Qualifications

• College degree is required.
• 1–2 years of merchandising, showroom, or sample management experience.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and maintains high standards of order.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Ability to drive timelines and keep teams on task; cross items off the list.
• Able to stay poised in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficient in time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage sample tracking throughout the product lifecycle, including end-of-season prep.
• Lead sample management for assortment reviews, wholesale market, and international market.
• Set-up and break down samples for showroom and international market weeks.
• Request, maintain and track sample updates; ensure corrected samples are received.
• Create and maintain daily organization for sample closets, racks, and merchandising areas.
• Pull samples for marketing shoots, business reviews, product knowledge, and visual reviews.
• Sample management for WEB photography needs; manage internal sample requests.
• Identify and pack samples for sample sales; assist with bookings and rack prep.
• Support setup and maintenance of all SKUs across relevant systems.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
