Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate at HomeGoods in Southern Pines, NC. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards, interact with customers, and help maintain a clean, organized store while modeling strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership capacity. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required, with the opportunity to contribute to store goals and safety programs.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to train others.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards.
• Ensure Associates process efficiently and effectively.
• Provide excellent customer experience and maintain a clean store.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, coded and stocked on the floor.
• Communicate with management to ensure smooth flow of goods and priorities.
• Support shrink reduction initiatives and safety programs.
