Job summary

Local Crafts is seeking a dependable Merchandise Processor to join our Fulfillment/Shipping team in Grand Prairie, TX. You will process and ship customer orders accurately, following established procedures and maintaining quality as orders move through the packing stage.

You’ll review orders for accuracy, identify discrepancies before they leave the facility, and keep an organized workspace to ensure steady daily output.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, fulfillment or order processing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to follow established procedures consistently.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

From our own workshops to trusted partners around the globe, we design and curate products makers reach for every day: the fabrics, threads, yarns, and tools that turn ideas into finished pieces.

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Merchandise Processor to join our Fulfillment/Shipping team. In this role, you'll process and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining our quality standards. You'll follow established procedures, catch and raise issues before orders leave the building, and help the team keep pace with daily shipping volume.

What You'll Do

• Process and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently
• Follow established shipping procedures and processes to ensure orders are completed correctly
• Review orders for accuracy and quality before they ship
• Identify and raise red flags, discrepancies, or other issues before an order leaves the facility
• Maintain an organized work area and handle merchandise with care
• Work at a steady pace to meet required daily shipping volume
• Support Saturday shipping as needed

What You'll Bring

• Previous shipping, fulfillment, or order processing experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to follow established procedures and processes consistently

• Consistent availability for the scheduled shift, including Saturdays when needed

Additional Information

• On-site. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM; Saturdays as needed
• Target hourly salary: $16 - $19
