Job summary

Starboard Cruise Services seeks a Merchant Coordinator to oversee the merchandise operation from the office, supporting daily tasks that affect sales, gross margin, and weeks of supply. You will work with vendors to develop relationships, set up SKUs, and communicate with onboard teams regarding merchandising requests.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience and a high school diploma, plus strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Merchandising or related business studies or equivalent experience.
• Foundational math and business acumen.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Item maintenance: create and maintain SKUs, set up vendors, manage pricing, heavy data entry, shipboard SKU IDs, update commissions database.
• Internal/external communication: produce shipboard communications, collect data from vendors, send monthly sales reports, respond to DC and Customer Service requests, support merchandising projects.
• Interpersonal management: build positive relationships across Starboard, learn processes, leverage connections to meet day-to-day needs.
