Merchandise Operations Manager - Roosevelt Field

Your Role

As a Retail Performance and Store Operations Manager, you will manage resources and uphold operational performance to support and maximize sales and profitability in your assigned stores. You will enhance the customer experience to improve sales performance and bottom-line profitability. You will work on-site and report to a Senior Operations Manager.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the execution of store retail performance and store operations strategy.
  • Oversee and be accountable for the daily execution of store operations, including inbound merchandise/supply receiving, supporting online sales activity via accurate order fulfillment, managing expenses to increase profitability, implementing capital fund projects, overseeing all labor, scheduling, and staffing of assigned stores, collaborating with partners on mechanical and technological responsibilities, and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Prioritize team workload and focus to achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Carry out the tasks of a Sales Support Manager in their absence.
  • Directly manage performance of Sales Support Managers, Alterations Manager, and Loss Prevention Leaders.
  • Ensure store inventory accuracy and lead physical inventory processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
  • 7+ years of experience, preferably in luxury retail fashion.
  • A proven track record of achieving business results.
  • Experience in leading, motivating, and coaching teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of profit and loss management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 10 pounds.
  • A flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
