Job summary

St. Matthew’s House is seeking a part-time Merchandise Pick-Up to assist the store team in executing the merchandising vision. The role involves assembling and placing products, attracting guest attention, and helping with loadouts while delivering excellent customer service.

The position requires a retail background, strong communication, and the ability to balance moving furniture with guest service. It’s a fast-paced environment aligned with our mission and community focus.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience with POS duties.
• Knowledge of merchandise presentation.
• Understanding of retail profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage time, prioritize tasks, and balance sales floor activity.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and thanking guests.
• Answer phones with proper etiquette.
• Lift and move furniture and large merchandise safely.
• Maintain storefront appearance and safety compliance.
• Assist unloading merchandise from trucks and processing items.
• Communicate needs to leadership daily.
• Support store events as scheduled.
• Perform duties and duties as directed by the Store Manager to ensure efficient store operations.
