Job summary

TJ Maxx in Sumter, SC is seeking a Retail Associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates process efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll help maintain a clean, organized store and model strong teamwork.

Responsibilities include tagging and stocking, coaching others, and supporting back room organization. A retail background and ability to work nights/weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changes.
• Team player with ability to train others and lead when needed.
• 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure efficient processing.
• Engage with customers to provide an excellent shopping experience.
• Train Associates on merchandising and processing principles and prioritize tasks.
• Maintain tagging, hanging, securing, and coding of merchandise.
• Support back room organization, stock rotation, and replenishment.
