Job summary

U.S. Open internship in merchandising offers hands-on experience supporting the merchandise operation during the championship season. You will help with setup, visual displays, inventory, and volunteer coordination across Inverness Club and Pebble Beach sites.

Ideal candidates are energetic, able to lift 30–70 lbs, and eager to learn in a fast-paced retail environment. Housing and travel are provided for interns traveling with USGA.

Qualifications

• Capable to assist in movement of boxes weighing approximately 30-70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with merchandise setup, displays, and visual merchandising in the Merchandise Pavilion.
• Assist in running the Merchandise Pavilion during the Championship, including customer service and inventory replenishment.
• Help oversee volunteers and coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with checkout, inventory tagging, and shipments during breaks/shift changes.
