Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Finance or related field.
  • 5+ years of previous merchandise coordination, inventory management and/or logistics experience.
  • Experience in a studio environment, warehouse, or stock room.
  • Experience using MAC operating systems.
  • Moderate-level skill in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to stand for a full workday on a cement studio floor.
  • Strong communication, budgeting, and project management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Merchandise Coordinator supports Content Studio operations by managing merchandise throughout the content production lifecycle. This role is responsible for receiving and tracking merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory and location information within studio systems, coordinating merchandise needs with production teams, and ensuring products are available and prepared for scheduled photo and video production. The Merchandise Coordinator also supports merchandise and prop procurement, product preparation, and timely disposition of merchandise following production.

This is an onsite role in Grand Rapids, MI.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receiving and checking incoming merchandise into Creative Force and maintaining accurate inventory/location information as merchandise moves through the studio workflow
  • Tracking expected merchandise and communicating with producers when items are late, missing, or otherwise not available for scheduled production
  • Managing the merchandise lifecycle through production, including purging/disposition at the appropriate time
  • Procuring and transferring merchandise and props from Meijer stores for photo and video shoots
  • Supporting merchandise preparation as needed, particularly for softlines, which could include steaming, ironing, and getting products photo-ready
  • Maintaining accurate merchandise and inventory records within Creative Force and related studio systems

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Finance or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
  • 5+ years of previous merchandise coordination, inventory management and/or logistics experience
  • Experience working in a studio environment, warehouse, or stock room
  • Experience using MAC operating systems
  • Moderate-level skill in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
  • Ability to stand and work on a cement studio floor for up to a full workday
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
