Job Description
Opportunity: Grow Your Career

Responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates process efficiently and work as a team. Provide an excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. Model exceptional customer service.

  1. Create a positive internal and external customer experience
  2. Promote a culture of honesty and integrity; maintain confidentiality
  3. Coordinate truck deliveries, prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor
  4. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles
  5. Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  6. Communicate with the Coordinator on Duty for efficient flow of goods
  7. Ensure tasks are completed according to store plan; prioritize as needed
  8. Monitor team productivity and coach accordingly
  9. Organize and rotate back stock for replenishment
  10. Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards
  11. Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards in the backroom
  12. Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
  13. Communicate effectively with management and Associates on priorities and updates
  14. Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
  15. Partner with Management on training needs to increase effectiveness
  16. Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
  17. Promote credit and loyalty programs
  18. Support store shrink reduction goals and programs
  19. Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
  20. Other duties as assigned
Who We’re Looking For: You
  1. Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
  2. Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  3. Capable of multitasking
  4. Responsive to changes and unexpected situations
  5. Team player, effective with peers and supervisors
  6. Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation
  7. Ability to train others
  8. At least 1 year of retail and 6 months of leadership experience
