Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks as delegated by the Store Manager
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates
• Performing store functions, opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting store assets and maintaining safety policies
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers and staff
• Managing store areas to company standards, including stockroom and sales floor
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and store communications
• Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and freight management
• Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective and merchandise is well-stocked and organized

Minimum qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
