Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Support hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated.
• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt, return of merchandise, and freight flow management.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise and stockroom organization.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily and maintain merchandising standards.
• Participate in planning and implementing sales strategies and promotional displays.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
