Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all store areas meet company standards, including stockroom and sales floor, with proper recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates.
• Process all SSC Corporate directives and related store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Support freight flow management and meet productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining store merchandise, including refrigerated and frozen items.
• Help maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Assist in planning, merchandising, and maintaining promotional displays like Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Participate in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
