Responsibilities:

1. Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Perform all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed.
4. Handle opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
6. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintain a professional environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
8. Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
9. When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
10. Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
11. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
12. Manage freight flow and meet productivity standards.
13. Assist in ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
14. Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
15. Plan and merchandise with Clip Strips and Power Panels.
16. Implement monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prefer prior retail and management experience.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
