Responsibilities:

1. Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.


2. Support hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated.


3. Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.


4. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.


5. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.


6. Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.


7. Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.


8. When the Store Manager is not on the premises, assume supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.


9. Process all corporate directives and related store communications.


10. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.


11. Manage freight flow and maintain stockroom organization.


12. Meet or exceed productivity standards.


13. Assist with ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.


14. Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily and plan merchandising strategies.


15. Participate in planning and implementing monthly sales plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
