Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all areas of the store meet company standards, including recovery and organization.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Manage freight flow and ensure sales floor productivity.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure sales-effective floor presentation.
• Plan and implement merchandising strategies and sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, team environment.
