Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all areas of the store are maintained to company standards, including stockroom and sales floor.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process store directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt, return, and management of DSD merchandise following company policies.
• Help manage freight flow and meet productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering, stocking, and organizing merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain an organized stockroom and a sales-effective sales floor.
• Plan and implement merchandising strategies and sales planners.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
