Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting company assets, including store cash
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keeping the store, stockroom, and sales floor organized and clean
• Direct supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and store communications
• Managing freight flow and merchandise receipt and return processes
• Meeting productivity standards and assisting with merchandise ordering and stocking
• Planning and maintaining sales-effective displays and monthly sales plans

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
