Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Manage freight flow and stock organization.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and merchandising merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is effective daily and plan monthly sales strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
