Responsibilities:

1. Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Support all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Help protect and secure store assets, including cash.
6. Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers and staff.
8. Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
9. When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
10. Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
11. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
12. Manage freight flow and ensure sales floor effectiveness daily.
13. Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining stockroom organization.
14. Plan and execute merchandising strategies, including Clip Strips and Power Panels.
15. Participate in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
