Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and related store communications.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Help manage freight flow and meet productivity standards.
11. Assist with ordering, stocking merchandise, and maintaining stockroom organization.
12. Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily and assist in planning and merchandising efforts.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
