Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Helping to protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keeping store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is not present, overseeing hourly associates.
• Processing directives related to store activities, including inventory and compliance tasks.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, following company policies.
• Managing freight flow and ensuring productivity standards are met.
• Assisting in ordering, stocking, and maintaining store merchandise, including refrigerated items.
• Maintaining stockroom organization and ensuring the sales floor is effective daily.
• Planning and merchandising with sales-effective items and monthly sales planners.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
