Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean to company standards, including recovery tasks.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates' supervision.
• Process all corporate directives, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies and procedures.
• Support freight flow management.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Help maintain stockroom organization.
• Ensure the sales floor is optimized for sales daily.
• Assist in planning, merchandising, and maintaining clip strips and power panels with sales-effective items.
• Contribute to planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team-oriented environment.
