Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store staff as delegated.
• Assisting with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting store assets, including cash, and adhering to safety policies.
• Maintaining a professional environment for customers and staff.
• Ensuring the store and stockroom meet company standards, including recovery.
• Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Managing freight flow and stock replenishment.
• Meeting productivity standards and assisting with merchandise ordering and stocking.
• Maintaining stockroom organization and sales floor effectiveness.
• Planning and implementing merchandising strategies and sales plans.

Minimum requirements:

• Preferred prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
