Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting and securing company assets, including cash
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keeping the store, stockroom, and sales floor organized and up to standards
• Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present
• Processing corporate directives related to store operations
• Managing freight flow and stock replenishment
• Meeting or exceeding productivity standards
• Assisting with merchandise ordering, stocking, and organization
• Planning and maintaining sales-effective displays and merchandising strategies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Preferred prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
