Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting company assets, including store cash.
6. Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
9. Assuming supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
11. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing freight flow, and stocking needs.
12. Ensuring the sales floor is effective daily, planning and merchandising with sales planners.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
