Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Support hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all areas of the store meet company standards, including recovery and organization.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Support freight flow management and stock replenishment.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering and stocking merchandise, including refrigerated and frozen items.
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Plan and maintain merchandising displays like Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Participate in planning and executing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
